PSD recognizes Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month to acknowledge the valuable contributions of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.
The annual show honors Puyallup art teachers Dan Vesey & Deb Munson, celebrating their legacy of inspiring students, teachers, & the community through art.
Families can register their child for free Spanish-dual language education for incoming students in grades k-7 for the 2025-26 school year.
Starting Tuesday, December 10, families can submit an In-District Transfer Request or Out-of-District Waiver for junior high and high school students for the 2025-26 school year.
Join us to discuss navigating resettlement, your new community and access various resources at our Refugee Family Engagement Sessions at the Puyallup Public Library.
PSD has partnered with Behavior Bridges to host a series of free in-person and virtual parent and caregiver learning classes for our families.
These half-day events highlight the importance of community partnerships for reimagining excellence in schools.

The 2025 Vesey/Munson Art Show will take place from May 15-21, welcoming students, families, and community members to view exhibits of junior high and high school student artwork from across the district.

History of the Vesey/Munson Art Show
The annual award show honors veteran Puyallup School District art teachers Dan Vesey and Deb Munson, who inspired students, teachers, and the community with their creativity and dedication.
Dan, a beloved mentor, taught for 30 years, sharing his passion generously. His award began in 1998 as a tribute to his impact. Deb, who began teaching in 1974, carried on his legacy while leading and volunteering in the arts community. Their shared love for the arts continues to inspire, and we celebrate their passion through the creativity of Puyallup students.
